2026  World Entertainment Awards  Best Americana Single (Humble Road) & Best Alternative Single

By Bridge Staff | July 2, 2026

Prescott singer-songwriter Lisa Mitts continues her strong 2026 award season with two notable nominations at the World Entertainment Awards. Her emotional single “Humble Road” is nominated for Best Americana Single, while the powerful track “Broken Crayons” competes for Best Alternative Single.

Both songs come from her acclaimed album Sing Baby Sing, released in late 2025. “Humble Road” delivers a reflective message about life’s journeys, perseverance, and finding strength in humility. In contrast, “Broken Crayons” offers a hopeful anthem of healing and restoration, deeply connected to Mitts’ advocacy for survivors of human trafficking through Destiny House Restoration Center.

Produced by longtime collaborator Brandon Bee, the two tracks showcase different sides of Mitts’ artistry — one rooted in classic Americana storytelling and the other embracing alternative textures while maintaining her signature emotional depth and vocal strength.

Mitts shared her excitement on social media upon learning of the nominations, thanking her team, fans, and the community that has supported her music. For Northern Arizona listeners, these nods carry special meaning. They highlight the quality of work being created right here in the Quad Cities and bring positive national attention to our region’s creative scene.

The World Entertainment Awards recognize outstanding independent artists across genres. Earning two single nominations in the same year is a significant achievement that reflects the resonance of Mitts’ songwriting and the growing impact of her catalog.

These honors build on her recent 2025 Elite Music Awards win for Songwriter of the Year and her simultaneous Best Americana Album nomination for Sing Baby Sing. Together, they mark one of the strongest seasons in her career to date.

Bridge AZ is proud to celebrate local artists like Lisa Mitts who bring talent, heart, and purpose to their work. Her music not only entertains but also inspires and supports important community causes.

Fans across Northern Arizona and beyond are encouraged to stream both “Humble Road” and “Broken Crayons” on their favorite platforms. As the awards ceremony approaches, we look forward to following Mitts’ journey and cheering on this talented Quad Cities artist.

Congratulations, Lisa — your voice continues to shine brightly for our community!
