In a world where human trafficking continues to shatter lives, events like the Evening of Destiny shine as beacons of hope, healing, and action. The 2025 edition of this powerful annual benefit concert and speaker event, organized by the Destiny House Restoration Center, brought together music, heartfelt testimonies, and urgent calls to action to support survivors of human trafficking while raising awareness and promoting prevention in communities across Arizona and beyond.
Held on October 25, 2025, at the Jim & Linda Lee Performing Arts Center at Yavapai College in Prescott, Arizona, the event featured captivating performances by award-winning singer-songwriter Lisa Mitts and her full band, alongside special guest artist Brandon Bee.
The evening was elevated by inspiring words from VIP speaker Lindsey Graham (known as The Patriot Barbie), who shared insights on resilience, community change, and turning potential predators into protectors.
Highlights from the Evening
The recap video captures the emotional depth of the night perfectly. Speakers emphasized the dire need for more safe spaces in Arizona, particularly in areas like Yavapai and Pike Counties, where resources for trafficking survivors are critically lacking. One powerful message stood out: operations like Destiny House are essential for providing healing, safety, and recovery, reminding survivors that they matter and have a God-given destiny worth fighting for.
Attendees heard calls to invest in education, awareness training, and support for nonprofit partners. As one speaker passionately urged, “You can indeed make a difference. You can be a hero. You could help even one girl.” The event challenged the community to innovate—changing laws, attitudes, and approaches to prevent trafficking and foster hope.
Interwoven with these messages were moving musical performances. Songs touched on themes of tough roads traveled, the inherent value in “broken” lives (like broken crayons that still color beautifully), and reaching out for hope and connection. The music, led by Lisa Mitts—a driving force behind the organization since 2012—served as a heartfelt soundtrack to stories of resilience and restoration.
Gratitude flowed freely toward attendees: “From the bottom of our hearts, we are grateful that you showed up. And we’re grateful that you’re going to do something.” The night ended on a note of unity and determination: God is on the move, and collective action—through donations, talents, and advocacy—can transform lives.
About Destiny House Restoration Center

Founded in 2012 by David and Lisa Mitts, Destiny House Restoration Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering adult female survivors of sex trafficking. Through their holistic H.E.A.R.T.S. program (Healing, Education, and Restorative Treatment for Survivors), they offer trauma therapy, life skills training, mentorship, and plans for safe transition homes in the greater Prescott area.
The organization not only provides direct survivor support but also champions prevention through seminars, training, and events like the Evening of Destiny. Their work addresses a pressing issue: human trafficking is rampant in the U.S., with Arizona seeing thousands of cases, often starting at tragically young ages.
